Memoryland – 2021

Very nice collaboration with director Bui Kim Quy for her second feature film. Gathering a satisfactory budget for “Vietnamese Auteur Cinema” is not easy. So I held the positions of location reordist, Sound Designer, Mixer, Composer and Music Recorder on this movie.
This movie was also the occasion for me to work with Rit (Akritchalerm Kalayanamitr) one of the best sound engineers in Asia who worked for years with Apichatpong Weerasethakul.

Synopsis

A fatal workplace accident, a lonely young widow in a village filled with ghosts, and a couple planning for death; three stories of loss slowly intersect in this eloquent hybrid film.
